Alleviant Health Centers
In 2000, a Yale University study on ketamine gave new hope to those who suffer from treatment-resistant disorders. With a background in anesthesiology, Brian Mears, CRNA, and Michael Reding, MD, opened Alleviant Health Centers to bring this potentially life-saving solution to the Little Rock community. Located inside of Baptist Medical Towers 2, we are the only clinic in Arkansas with the sole purpose of providing ketamine infusion therapy.
Alleviant Health Centers helps patients with treatment-resistant depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and migraine headaches. We also accept patients living with neurogenic and oncological pain.
Approximately 75% of patients will experience a significant reduction in symptoms, with many finding relief during the first infusion. However, one infusion is not a cure-all. For best results, we advise completing multiple infusions over a short period of time, after which you will be able to schedule a maintenance dose as needed. The frequency of maintenance infusions varies for each patient; it simply depends on the way you are feeling. We create a relaxing, spa-like atmosphere in our clinic, with calming music and comfortable recliners. Ketamine therapy is typically administered through six IV infusions over the course of 10-14 days. Most sessions will last between 60-90 minutes and a trained medical professional will be with you the entire time.
Our goal is to work with your current medical team to find the best treatment option for you. Your referring provider will continue overseeing your healthcare needs while we coordinate care to optimize your quality of life.
